Hand chain hoists are divided into fixed and running types. The running hand chain hoist consists of a hand chain hoist and a manual trolley, which can operate on I-beams. Hand chain hoists are designed for vertical lifting; when pulled diagonally, the chains are prone to jamming, resulting in the inability to pull. If the weight of the lifted object is too heavy and exceeds the load capacity, it cannot be pulled by the hand chain. Another reason is that if the brakes of the hand chain hoist become locked, it will also be impossible to pull the heavy object.
