Stainless steel hand chain hoists can be divided into two types: fixed and running, depending on the installation method. Fixed hand chain hoists are directly installed at a fixed position through a mounting point (such as a hook or bracket) and can only perform lifting operations in the vertical direction. They are simple to install and are usually fixed on beams, brackets, or other fixed structures. The lifting range is limited to the vertical space below the mounting point. They are suitable for lifting tasks that do not require horizontal movement, such as fixed-position lifting operations in environments with limited space and no need for horizontal movement. Running hand chain hoists are mounted on a movable trolley (running trolley), which can move horizontally along I-beam tracks, thus enabling the crane to move both horizontally and vertically. This adds the function of horizontal movement and expands the working range. The running trolley is typically manually or electrically driven, providing flexible mobility. They are suitable for situations where heavy objects need to be moved over a large area, such as during lifting operations requiring horizontal movement in workshops, warehouses, docks, etc., and when it is necessary to flexibly adjust the lifting position.
