What to do if the chain gets stuck in an aluminum alloy hand-operated hoist

If an aluminum alloy chain block experiences a jamming issue, it may be due to deformation of the chain, rust, insufficient lubrication, or improper operation. Stop operating and avoid forcibly pulling the handle, as this could damage the internal gears or cause the chain to break. Observe the location of the jam: check if the chain is twisted or deformed (bent links, compression), as well as whether there is rust or dirt accumulation that affects smooth movement of the chain. Or the chain may be misaligned with the sprocket; the chain has not been correctly inserted into the sprocket groove. Try pulling the chain in reverse lightly, slowly turning the handle so that the chain moves back slightly, then try pulling it forward again. Gently tap the stuck area with your hand to help loosen the chain (avoid using metal tools to strike, as this can damage the aluminum alloy housing). Check if the chain is too tight and adjust the tension appropriately (some chain blocks have adjustable chain tension). Clean and lubricate the chain. If you cannot resolve the issue yourself, send it to a professional repair point for inspection.
